One part of landscaping that I’ve seen a lot of homeowners ignore is lighting. But a few affordable, well-placed lights can make a big difference in your home’s curb appeal, especially since a lot of buyers these days will drive by in the evening.
The first thing that’s incredibly easy and has become very affordable are solar lights. You can find these small lights at home improvements stores, and installing them is often as easy as using a built-in stake to place them strategically along walkways or in beds.
You can also invest in grown-up string lights. I’m not talking about dorm room-style Christmas lights here. String lights have come a long way, and you can often find very nice-looking ones at a good price. They are easy to install, too. Just string them up and plug them in. They make a home’s entrance look so inviting!
