One reason that a lot of agents get into real estate is that we can have a more flexible schedule. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the flexibility, but I think there’s a perception that agents don’t work hard or work long hours.

Sure, we may be able to choose when we start our workdays, but we also do showings and open houses on the weekends. It can be a grind if you’re not ready for it.

For someone like me, who is passionate about this industry, it’s worth the long hours and hard work, though. I love helping people, and at the end of the day, that’s what a career in real estate is all about!
