Did you know that, according to the National Association of Realtors, 2% of homes are sold as a result of an open house?
2%! That’s hardly any houses at all.
That doesn’t mean that you should never do an open house, but it is a good indicator that you should be doing individual showings, as well. That’s one of the tasks that your friendly, neighborhood agent is here to help with! My job is to guide potential buyers through showings, so you don’t have to. Instead, you can run out and treat yourself to a manicure or a fancy coffee, and come back when the work is done.
